ABOUT
I am a fun-loving, energetic, and passionate person. I was born and raised on Long Island, just about a half hour away from the New York City.
I was diagnosed with a rare form of congenital muscular dystrophy called Nemaline Rod Myopathy. Basically, this means that all of my muscles are extremely weak, like the ones we use to move our bodies, breathe, and even eat. However, my mind and cognitive abilities are in no way affected, SO DON’T GET IT TWISTED!
I wanted share my passions - beauty, fashion, advocating for people with disabilities, and everything in between. With my blog and shop, I hope that I can shed some light on what life is like living with a disability and to shut down some of the stigma surrounding it, because in all honesty, it isn’t so bad! Having a disability isn’t all sad, dreary, and full of struggle. It can also be beautiful, and fun, and exciting!
I hope this blog inspires you to live your best life, no matter the circumstances. And I hope to encourage others with disabilities to never give up, even when things seem impossible - AND DON’T LET ANYONE TELL YOU NO! I love connecting with people, so feel free to contact me, for any reason, or no reason at all!
